Nikki Lane har de seneste år implementeret sig som en af country scenes mest talentfulde unge kvinder. Lane udsender sit 3. album, Highway Queen, 17. Februar 2017, via New West Records. Pladen viser den unge Nashville sangerinde som en af nutidens Country og Rocks dygtigste sangskrivere. Pladen er co-produceret af Nikki Lane selv og singer-songwriteren Jonathan Tyler. Med et symbiotisk mix af potent sangskrivning, utøjlede blues guitar og vintage 60’er country pop swagger, vil Lanes nye album give genlyd hos Lana del Rey og Jenny Lewis fans såvel som hos Neils Young og Tom Petty.

Nikki Lane has proven herself as one of country’s most talented young women in the last few years. Nikki Lane’s stunning third album Highway Queen, out February 17th, 2017, sees the young Nashville singer emerge as one of country and rock’s most gifted songwriters. Co-produced by Lane and fellow singer-songwriter, Jonathan Tyler, this emotional tour-de-force was recorded at Matt Pence’s Echo Lab studio in Denton, Texas as well as at Club Roar with Collin Dupuis in Nashville, Tennessee. Blending potent lyrics, unbridled blues guitars and vintage Sixties country-pop swagger, Lane’s new music will resonate as easily with Lana Del Rey and Jenny Lewis fans as those of Neil Young and Tom Petty.
