Samothrace initially came together out of friendship made through involvement in DIY Punk/Hardcore/Metal community. Although currently based in Seattle, Washington, their hometowns span from New Mexico, Kansas and Oklahoma. Their lyrics, albeit poetic, are rooted in the ideals of social change, political incoherence, and a bleak but positive outlook on life… intended for those who’ve taken back their breath and risen on their own and those who wish to do so.

Samothrace is an evolving beast. Keep it heavy… keep it underground. Heavy music for heavy times. Reccomended if you like: Cough / Rwake

Dresden/Leningrad, a Stoner/Doom trio from Amsterdam, The Netherlands. During the two years they have been playing together, they released 2 records, the ‘Vader’ EP in August 2012 and ‘De Tirannie’ in November 2013. Drawing inspiration from scenes of War and 70′s rock. With their music, they attempt to paint a picture; a gruesome, gloomy picture of a battlefield; where all hope is abandoned; where it is everybody for themselves; here, the reason for fighting has been long forgotten; soldiers are so down on their luck that despair is there only remaining ally.
