HOLY WAVE (US)

Holy Wave er et band med multiinstrumentalister fra Austin, USA. Bandet spiller en unik art psykedelisk solskins-surfrock. Forestil dig et mix af The 13th Floor Elevators, The Black Angels og My Bloody Valentine.  

Oprindeligt er Holy Wave fra El Paso, Texas, hvor et særligt broderskab og kreativitet bandt gruppen sammen og langsomt formede dét, der skulle blive til Holy Wave. Gruppen flyttede til storbyen og i løbet af fem år, har de turneret i USA som support for GOAT, Psychic Ills og spillet Austin Psych Fest, SXSW, osv. 

Holy Wave udgav deres første album i 2011 under titlen Knife Hits, og i starten af 2014 udkom deres andet fuldlængde album Relax på Burger Records/Reverberation Appreciation Society. 

AL LOVER (US)

Al Lover er en producer og DJ fra San Fransisco og er de seneste år blevet anerkendt for sit talent med at mixe moderne og tidlig psykedelisk garagerock med hårde beats. Inspireret af The 13th Floor Elevators og DJ Shadow leverer Al Lover sit liveset 'Sacred Drugs', der nok ikke kan beskrives bedre end: 

...SACRED DRUGS is a sonic representation of the exploration of a micro / macrocosmic universe through ritualistic plant consumption and how the effects of these plants opens our experience to the inner workings of the cosmos. With a focus on hypnotic loops, a heavy rhythm section and layers of textured samples, analog synths and fuzz guitars, the focus is to try and take the listener to that place where the universe breaths.
